SEC installs foundation piles, racking systems and Solar modules and has worked on projects ranging from 5 MW to 300 MW. SEC can install piles in rocky soil with the use of a patented “side drilling” technique where piles are driven to refusal and then drilled through the web of the piles to break up obstructions allowing piles to be driven to embedment depth. This technique saves time, does not require extraction of piles and significantly decreases cost under rocky soil conditions.
